Taking Control of Your Life
We are often aware of our physical habits, our daily routines and so on, but how do the habits of our mind influence our experiences, our happiness, or whether we have had a good day or not?
A peaceful mind always brings inner peace and happiness regardless of external circumstances. By getting into the “habit” of cultivating inner peace, we can manage problems positively and find joy in everything.
On this short course of classes, we will learn about helpful mental habits to develop and how to let go of those unhelpful ones. This process will transform our negative habits into effective positive ones through understanding and simple meditations that anyone can use.
These classes are suitable for everyone, and no previous experience is needed. Each class is self-contained. Come along to as many as you like. Everyone is welcome.

Introduction to Tantra
Tuesdays 10.30am – 11.30am
December 2, 9, 16
Introduction to Tantra
We’ve all heard of Tantra but do we know what it is and how to actually practice it?
Tantra is the quick path to enlightenment. It is the rarest of instructions and so we have a wonderful opportunity now to get to understand it.
Tantra involves harnessing the power of our mind and using our imagination to connect with our pure potential. By imagining the result and relating to this we create the causes to experience it in our everyday reality much more quickly. By imagining ourselves as more loving, more compassionate and wiser we can break out of the prison of the usual mundane ideas, and awaken our vast potential for pure happiness.
These introductory classes will explain what Tantra is (and what it is not), and explore how we can access the pure, inner potential we all have, to develop and train our mind towards the ultimate happiness and freedom of enlightenment.

Positive Outlook
Tuesdays 10.30am – 11.30am
February 10, 17, 24
Positive Outlook
How do we keep a positive outlook when problems and difficulties arise? How do we keep smiling though the rain and storms of life?
Join us for these classes looking at how we can develop an understanding of why good and bad things happen in our lives and how our mind influences how we feel when “life happens”. Through a little understanding and some effort in meditation we can start to change our normal responses, feelings and actions by applying these straightforward lessons. We will explore the way in which we can seek the safety and security of a peaceful space in our own minds and how we can influence our experiences of life’s events through training our minds.
These classes are suitable for everyone, and no previous experience is needed. You can start coming to classes at any time and can attend as many or few as you prefer as each class is self-contained. Everyone is welcome.

Finding Freedom
Tuesdays 10.30am – 11.30am
March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Finding Freedom
Discover the ways in which we can find an inner freedom leading us to a deep peace of mind and boundless joy and happiness. Through these classes, all of which are self-contained, we will come to see that a happy mind is possible in any situation. Understanding what we need to let go of and what is helpful to keep within our “mind’s eye”, we will naturally start to experience a happy state of mind which becomes only stronger.
Letting go will free us from the thoughts and feelings which weigh us down, and when we combine this with a positive attitude towards others, their needs and problems, seeing how they are no different to our own troubles, we will feel freer and happier.
These classes will give us the practical knowledge and the skills in meditation to develop these positive states of mind, helping to free us from the constraints of our current, unhelpful views and ways of thinking.
No previous experience is needed and these classes are suitable for everyone. You can start coming to classes at any time and can attend as many or few as you prefer as each class is self-contained. Everyone is welcome.
